§ 45. Mr. Russellasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what estimate he has made of the effect which the decision of the International Sugar Council to reduce export quotas by a further 5 per cent. of the basic export tonnages will have on the sugar-producing Colonies.
§ Mr. HopkinsonThis decision does not affect the quotas of Commonwealth exporting countries. In so far as it helps to maintain the free market price it should benefit the sugar-producing Colonies.
