§ 111. Mr. Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will take steps to collate information concerning children suffering from haemophilia, with particular reference to their hospital treatment and to their education.
§ Mr. J. StuartI am not clear what purpose would be served by the course the hon. Member suggests. The last published Report of the Medical Research Council (Cmd. 8876) contains a full account of the progress of research into problems of diagnosis and treatment, and the Council maintains a special standing advisory committee on research in this field. As regards education, each case calls for individual consideration by the education authority concerned, and I know of no failure to make appropriate Arrangements.
