§ 90. Mr. Erroll
asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many policemen were killed in road accidents during 1951 and 1952 while engaged in traffic duties; and how many were injured.

I am in a position to give only figures relating to traffic point duty in the Metropolitan police district. Of the Metropolitan policemen engaged on such duty in these years, none was killed, 19 were injured in 1951, and 22 were injured in 1952.
