§ 91. Mr. Viantasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether, in view of the destruction of property in Willesden and the distress caused thereby to many owner-occupiers by the tornado of 8th December and the lack of emergency powers to deal with such contingencies, he will introduce legislation to confer such emergency powers both on his own Department and on local authorities.
