HC Deb 20 December 1954 vol 535 cc206-7W
Mr. Sylvester

asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance, in assessing the rate of pension for stomach disorder, what account is taken of the cost of special diet required to alleviate the complaint; how far compensatory payment is included in pension paid; and if he will arrange for a dietary allowance to be paid on the same principle of the existing comforts allowance.

Mr. Peake

I have written to the hon. Member to explain how account is taken of such matters in the assessment of disability.
