§ 65. Mr. A. Hendersonasked the Minister of Labour whether he will consider establishing a Remploy factory to meet the needs of the densely-populated areas of South Staffordshire.
§ Mr. WatkinsonI am glad to say there are comparatively few unemployed severely disabled persons in this area and that there is at present no justification for a Remploy factory.
§ 66. Mr. H. Johnsonasked the Minister of Labour when the building of the Remploy factory will be commenced on the site reserved for such factory at Lower Beyendean, Brighton.
§ Mr. WatkinsonI regret that Remploy Limited are not yet in a position to add to the number of their factories. The number of unemployed disabled persons in Brighton has continued to fall.
