HC Deb 14 December 1954 vol 535 c112W
63. Mr. Lewis

asked the Minister of Labour if he is aware of the industrial unrest affecting certain contracts of Wimpey and Sons; and whether he will take the opportunity of investigating this matter with a view to preventing an industrial dispute arising.

Mr. Watkinson

My officers have had informal contacts with the parties in this dispute but, as the hon. Member will be aware, it is to be considered by a special disputes commission which has been set up by the industry itself.
