§ Mr. MolsonOn the Carlisle-Glasgow road the expenditure on major improvements in Lanark has amounted to £132,377 in the last four calendar years and the expenditure on maintenance in the same period has amounted to £200,097; the estimated expenditure in the current year is £12,080 on major improvements and £58,244 on maintenance. On the Abington—Cumbernauld road the expenditure on major improvements in the same period has amounted to £46,648 and on maintenance £75,276. No provision is made for major improvements in the current year but £23,828 is estimated to be spent on maintenance.
