asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation why he cannot comply with the request of Stirling County Council to have a halt sign installed at junction of route A.803 and route A.80, at Longcroft, Stirlingshire.

As my right hon. Friend has explained to the hon. Member in correspondence, drivers coming out of A.803 have a reasonably good view of A.80. It would not, therefore, be justifiable to require them to halt and make them liable to penalties on failing to do so.
