Mrs. Whiteasked the Minister of Education why, in view of her conclusion that the grounds for his rejection by Woodbridge Grammar School were unreasonable, she took no steps to secure the admission of Raymond Davis to that school, instead of his continuing to attend another grammar school at a considerable distance from his home, involving a daily journey which is bound to handicap his scholastic progress.
§ Miss HorsbrughI understand the governors have decided to offer the boy in question a place at the school if the local education authority are agreeable to the transfer.
§ Dr. Kingasked the Minister of Education whether she will inform the governors of Woodbridge School, Suffolk, that, as they have excluded a boy from the school on what she deems to be unreasonable grounds, they must now offer him a place at the school.
