§ Mr. Wheatleyasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether, in the light of the Third Report of the Law Society of Scotland on the Legal Aid Scheme in Scotland, he will extend the provisions of the scheme in Scotland to include legal aid in matters not involving litigation, legal advice, and legal aid in criminal matters.
§ Mr. J. StuartSuch an extension is not contemplated at present. As the right hon. and learned Gentleman is aware, however, it has been possible to make some special arrangements in regard to legal aid in criminal cases.
