§ Mr. J. R. H. HutchisonThe decision to prepare for the formation of the special platoon was taken on 2nd March but the platoon was not formed until 7th March, when the four men joined. The schedule of duties, which is altogether different from that quoted in the letter sent to the hon. Member, was prepared by the Adjutant and approved by the Commanding Officer. It was sent to the companies as a confidential document and was never made known to the men concerned.
