§ Mr. J. P. L. ThomasThe estimated total cost of the Royal yacht and hospital ship is in the region of £1,800,000. The estimated average annual cost of running and maintenance, including periodical refits and docking is:
£ (a) as a Royal yacht in commission 145,000 (b)as a Royal yacht in care and maintenance 100,000 (c) as a hospital ship in commission 110,000 In addition there will be fuel costs.
