HC Deb 18 March 1953 vol 513 c1W
Sir S. Marshall

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General what steps are taken to ensure that all post offices have available ample supplies of literature giving full particulars of National Savings Certificates.

Mr. Gammans

The production, printing and distribution of National Savings Certificate literature is a joint responsibility of the National Savings Committee, the Stationery Office and the Post Office. As far as I am aware all post offices have ample stocks of such literature available for supplying the public, but if this may not be so in the case of any particular post office I shall be glad to look into the matter if the hon. Member will give me the name of the office.
