HC Deb 04 March 1953 vol 512 cc42-3W
98. Brigadier Medlicott

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air what examination and research is taking place into the possible connection between atomic explosions and the abnormal weather conditions which have prevailed throughout the world since the first atom bomb was exploded.

Mr. Ward

No research on this question has been done by the Meteorological Office. The available information, however, does not suggest that the weather has been more abnormal since the first atom bomb exploded.
