§ Sir G. Hutchinsonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will now amend the Local Government (Compensation) Regulations, 1948, so as to secure a right of appeal 98W from the decisions of the Compensation Appeal Tribunals established under these regulations to a common appellate tribunal, having regard to the views expressed by the Court of Appeal in the case of The King v. Northumberland Compensation Appeal Tribunal ex parte Shaw.
§ Mr. H. MacmillanI am not satisfied on the information before me that there is sufficient cause for the amendment proposed by my hon. and learned Friend, particularly as I understand that little, if any further resort to these Regulations is likely.
