§ Mr. Lyttelton,pursuant to his reply of 22nd April (OFFICIAL REPORT, Vol. 514, No. 93, c. 1169), supplied the following information:
The number of properties assessed for rates in Kuala Lumpur is 10,264; and the number of people on the electoral roll is 13,503. The present population of the town is estimated at about 250,000.
