HC Deb 09 June 1953 vol 516 c12W
Lieut.-Colonel Lipton

asked the Minister of National Insurance how many disabled ex-Service pensioners were receiving assistance grants on the latest date for which figures are available; and how this figure compares with one and two years ago, respectively.

Mr. Turton

I regret that I cannot give figures for a later date than November, 1952, when the estimated number was 21,700. The corresponding number for November, 1951, was 18,500. The figure for November, 1950, is not available.
