§ Mr. Proctorasked the Minister of Transport when the proposed prohibition of traffic turning right off Barton bridge into Barton Road, Stretford, will come into operation.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydI expect to receive the necessary traffic order from the Urmston Urban District Council within the next month or so for my confirmation. I cannot say exactly how soon after that it could come into operation. The order will have to be advertised; any objections will have to be considered and, if I decide to confirm the order, the appropriate signs will have to be erected.
