HC Deb 30 July 1953 vol 518 cc185-6W
61. Mr. Stokes

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will give instructions that records are in future to be kept of the amount of Irish whiskey sent to the United States of America, whether from Northern Ireland, English, Welsh or Scottish ports.

Mr. P. Thorneycroft

I will consider the right hon. Gentleman's suggestion when we are next reviewing the export list, if I receive any evidence that substantial advantage would result from keeping separate records of exports of Irish whiskey.
