HC Deb 23 July 1953 vol 518 cc65-6W
85. Mr. Sorensen

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps he will take in cases calling for the preventing of the disturbance of urban amenities from low-flying and noisy aircraft; what conversations he has had with the Secretary of State for Air in respect of this matter; and whether he will further confer with him in order to minimise the nuisance and to confine any necessary aerial exercises to publicly announced times and areas.

Sir D. Maxwell Fyfe

As I have explained to the hon. Member, this is not a matter for which the Home Secretary is responsible. I am bringing the suggestion in the last part of the Question to the notice of the Secretary of State for Air.
