asked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he will arrange for stocks of wood, peat and briquettes to be established in Edinburgh during the winter months in anticipation of domestic fuel shortage this winter.

Wood, peat and briquettes are uncontrolled and I think we can rely on the distributive trade to lay in such stocks of these and other fuels as they think necessary to supplement their stocks of coal and coke.
