I have today placed in the Library the list of firms newly established in enterprise zones in the year ending 31 May 1982.
asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what has been the total cost to date to central Government of each of the enterprise zones mentioned in the reply of 12 July, Official Report, c. 318.
Sir George Young: We can assess the costs for each zone of the exemption from rates. The figures show the position at the end of each financial year.
