asked the Minister of Agriculture what percentage of the intake of trainees into employment of the Forestry Commission are Welsh speaking.

Approximately 100 men, on completion of a two-year course at the Forestry Commission's Forester Training Schools, obtain employment with the Commission each year. About 5 per cent. of these are Welsh speaking.
