HC Deb 15 July 1953 vol 517 c174W
Brigadier Medlicott

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air if, without unduly interfering with flying training, he will make arrangements to limit the amount of flying undertaken on Sundays in the central area of Norfolk.

Mr. Ward

Every effort is made to avoid disturbing residents of central Norfolk by Royal Air Force aircraft flying on Sundays. But Auxiliary squadrons and the Royal Observer Corps have to practise at week-ends, and I regret that some disturbance is inevitable.
