Mr. H. Wilson

asked the President of the Board of Trade the figures of turnover and net profit or loss to the taxpayer for each year of British Overseas Cottons Limited.

Following are the figures requested:

teachers are sufficiently represented in the present constitution of the Burnham Committee, and that the salary scales are sufficient to attract sufficient numbers of honours graduates into the teaching profession.

Miss Horsbrugh

I have no reason to believe that in framing their salary recommendations the Burnham Committee fail to take fully into account the position of graduate teachers or that the interests of such teachers are not adequately represented on this Committee.
