HC Deb 06 July 1953 vol 517 cc56-7W
60. Mr. Emrys Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs the latest information he has received from the authorities in Korea about the measures of land reform undertaken in the area occupied by the United Nations.

Mr. Selwyn Lloyd

The only territory in Korea which is occupied by the United Nations and administered by the United Nations Command is the narrow area between the 38th Parallel and the present battle-line. I am accordingly asking the United States Government to seek from the United Nations Command any information that may be available about land reform in that area.
