§ 73. Mr. Russellasked the Minister of Education if she will reconsider her decision not to make special provision for independent schools to watch the Coronation, in view of the fact that this constitutes discrimination between different types of schools.
§ Miss HorsbrughI have considered this matter carefully, but I do not feel justified in asking the local education authorities concerned to make special provision for children attending independent schools. It is a matter for decision by the individual authorities.
