§ 70. Mr. Porterasked the Minister of Works what is the estimated wastage on timber used for the erection of Coronation stands in both financial and utility value.
§ Mr. EcclesIt is estimated that upon dismantling of the Government stands, 15 per cent. of the timber used in their construction will be unfit for further use in the building industry. I understand, however, that other uses will be found for most of this timber, which represents a value of about £27,500.
