§ Mr. Malcolm MacPhersonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what reply he has received to his letter of 26th July, 1952, addressed to the Secretary of the Educational Institute of Scotland, on the subject of teachers' pensions.
§ Mr. J. StuartI am sending the hon. Member a copy of a memorandum by the Educational Institute of Scotland containing their observations on the letter. This memorandum makes it clear that the Institute are generally opposed to the proposals.
