asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how far there has been a decline in the amount of building labour employed by the East Kilbride Development Corporation since October, 1952.

The numbers of building workers employed on work for the East Kilbride Development Corporation on 1st November, 1952, and 24th January, 1953, were 959 and 851 respectively.
