Mr. Lewis

asked the hon. Member for Woolwich, West, as Chairman of the Kitchen Committee, if he will give details of the number of staff employed by the Kitchen Committee who have not received a wage or salary increase since 1946; what was the average percentage increase made to the remainder, how many were receiving £1,000 per annum in 1946; and what is the present rate of pay of the latter category.
