§ 84. Wing Commander Hulbertasked the Assistant Postmaster-General the number of applicants for telephones in the county borough of Stockport at 30th November, 1953.
§ Mr. Gammans1,599 applications were outstanding on the 30th September, 1953, the latest date for which figures are available. 390 telephones were installed during the previous 12 months, but new demand continues high.
