§ 67. Mr. R. Robinsonasked the Secretary for the Colonies whether he will relax import duties on new machinery and raw materials going into the West Indies, in order to encourage industrial development.
Mr. LittletonIt is for the West Indian Governments to decide on changes in import duties. Certain Customs concessions are among those granted to new industries under their "pioneer industries laws."
