§ Mr. Geoffrey LloydThe large majority of Gas Consultative Councils consider that, although it is right for their210W own meetings to be open to the Press, the meetings of their local committees, which deal mainly with personal complaints, should be private. In this matter they are following a practice which is, I believe, widespread among local authorities, and I do not consider that it calls for my intervention.
