HC Deb 09 December 1952 vol 509 c25W
76. Mr. J. T. Hall

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that businessmen, now fixing up their accommodation in London for 1953, are finding that their usual hotel is refusing their booking for Tuesday, 2nd June; and if he will request the Coronation Accommodation Committee to bear this point in mind and to propose a solution to prevent discrimination against regular patrons.

Mr. Mackeson

I think this is a matter which is best left to the good sense of the hotel industry, and I am sure that they will recognise that it is in their interest to treat their regular patrons fairly.
