asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will make a statement on the importation into this country of cashmere scarves manufactured in Czechoslovakia by Centrotex. Limited, Prague.

The quota for the import of apparel from Czechoslovakia specifically excludes goods made of cashmere. If my hon. and gallant Friend has any evidence to suggest that cashmere scarves are, nevertheless, coming into this country I shall be glad to investigate it.
