§ 1. Mr. F. Macleanasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air how many man-hours have been lost by Royal Air Force personnel travelling on duty during the past six months as a result of the persistent unpunctuality of the trains of the London Midland Region of British Railways.
Mr. WardThe considerable research involved in attempting to obtain an accurate estimate would not be justified, but I would say that the number of effective man-hours lost through train delays is negligible.
