HC Deb 27 November 1951 vol 494 cc143-4W
Mr. C. I. Orr-Ewing

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General if he will issue instructions that, in future, Election literature is not to be unduly delayed in local offices in an effort to co-ordinate deliveries, as this practice during the recent Election led to official polling cards being slipped inside Election Addresses and delivered in this way.

Mr. Gammans

I was not aware that any poll cards had been delivered in the manner described, but if my hon. Friend will let me have particulars I will look into the matter.
