§ Mr. EdeKennels, biscuits and water are provided at all Metropolitan police stations for stray dogs coming into the hands of the police, but in bad weather or if dogs are noisy they are usually kept in some suitable place inside the station. Dogs are usually sent to the two dogs' homes appointed to receive stray dogs in the Metropolitan police district within 24 hours.
