§ Mr. HobsonThe total cost per hour incurred by the Post Office on account of Sittings by the House after 10.30 p.m. is two guineas. This figure consists of the overtime payable to postmen clearing the letter boxes, stamping and despatching298W correspondence, to the telephonists at the private branch exchange and to the drivers of Post Office cars.
