§ 119. Mr. H. Hyndasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that for some years there has been a demand for a public inquiry into the Georgetown Hospital, British Guiana: that conditions are bad and the medical and nursing staff discontented; and what action he proposes to take.
Mr. DugdaleA request for an inquiry into the Georgetown hospital was addressed to the Government of British Guiana by certain doctors on the staff in August last year. I have recently received a report from the Governor on the matter which I am now considering.
