HC Deb 23 February 1951 vol 484 c238W
Mr. C. I. Orr-Ewing

asked the Minister of Local Government and Planning whether he will make special arrangements for some of the design of £950 permanent houses which won the competition in the journal, "The Builder," to be licensed for construction.

Mr. Dalton

Subject to their own building by-laws, any local authority may authorise the construction of houses of this type within their permitted quota of private licences.
