HC Deb 09 February 1951 vol 483 c250W
Mr. Wood

asked the Secretary of State for War when he anticipates the removal of the huts from his Department's camp at Hutton Cranswick, near Driffield, in East Yorkshire, will be complete.

Mr. Strachey

I informed the hon. Member on 21st November, 1950, that the huts would be removed from both War Department camps at Hutton Cranswick as soon as possible. Since that date, however, the Air Ministry have stated that they may require one site and the owner of the other site has intimated that he is interested in the purchase of the remaining huts.
