asked the Minister of Agriculture what grants have been made for farm drainage and water supplies in Kent to the latest convenient date.

Up to 31st January, 1951, the grants made in Kent for farm drainage totalled £174,053, and for farm water supplies £84,224. These payments were in respect of 4,139 and 1,501 schemes respectively.
