§ Captain Duncanasked the Minister of Transport whether he has now revoked the Emergency Powers (Defence) Standing Vehicles Orders, 1939, and 1940, in view of the fact that the reason for their imposition no longer exists.
§ Mr. BarnesI propose to revoke these Orders shortly and subject to consultation with representative organisations to make a new regulation under Section 30 of the Road Traffic Act, 1930, renewing the restriction on motor vehicles and trailers on roads outside built-up areas only.
