asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he has now received from the United Nations Organisation a copy of the Pyongyang Note sent by the North Korean Government to the United Nations; and if he will make a statement.

Yes. The Note is mainly a recital of alleged atrocities by United Nations forces and South Koreans in Korea, and ends up with a demand for a settlement on the terms put forward by the so-called "World Peace Council" at its meeting in Berlin last February. In my right hon. Friend's view a communication of this kind can hardly be calculated to contribute towards the attainment of a settlement.
