§ Mr. BevinWhen in New York I had a general discussion on this question with the Egyptian Minister for Foreign Affairs. No firm plans have been made for a resumption of the discussions between His Majesty's Ambassador in Egypt and the Minister for Foreign Affairs which took place earlier this summer, and it is unlikely that such discussions will be reopened with the Egyptian Government while the Minister for Foreign Affairs is still absent from his country.
