§ Mr. Hurdasked the Minister of Health if he has considered the request of the Newbury Rural District Council for an additional allocation of private enterprise building licences so that the agricultural needs of the district may be met without prejudicing other applications for private enterprise licences of which 92 are outstanding; and what action he proposes to take.
§ Mr. BevanYes. But as the council have been informed, I do not consider that there are special circumstances in the district which would justify an increase of the proportion of one-fifth of their allocation for houses to be built under private licence.
