§ Mr. Braineasked the Minister of Health if he will instruct housing authorities to give special consideration to applications for de-requisitioning of their homes submitted by elderly persons who wish to spend their remaining years in enjoyment of their own property.
§ Mr. BevanHousing authorities already give sympathetic consideration to owners suffering exceptional hardship because of requisitioning, but all the circumstances of each case must be taken into account and I could not give instructions that a particular class of owner should receive special treatment.
